The anti-moth kit
This product is sold at a low margin (without giving it away either, so as not to undercut small neighbourhood shops). The idea isn't to line our pockets, but to encourage you to take care of your clothes, repair them and keep them for as long as possible.
It's the smell of the cedar that protects it against insects... and that will protect you against moths.
The wood, the cutting, the essential oils: everything is made in France (when most of the cedar discs on the market come from Asia).
To slip into your closets
The kit contains a 5 ml bottle of cedar essential oil and 6 cedar discs.
Slip a cedar disc between your folded sweaters or hang one from the hook of a coat hanger. If the scent fades, add a drop of cedar essential oil to each disc.

Origin and certifications
- The cedar essential oil is distilled from French organic cedar, either in the Gard, in southern France, by the Bel Air distillery, or in the Vaucluse, in southeastern France, by the Aroma'Plantes distillery
- The cedar wood discs are made in Saône-et-Loire, in eastern France, by la Fabrique Pluriel, from local cedar.
Care instructions
When your order arrives, you might notice a few marks on the cardboard packaging. That's actually a sign of quality: the wooden discs come from freshly cut cedar that's still very rich in resin. And it's this fragrant resin that protects the tree against insects... and that will protect you against moths.
As it happens, over time the resin will evaporate and the discs' scent will fade: to keep their moth-repellent effect, apply a drop of cedar essential oil to each piece, twice a year.
