Regulatory information about the sun lenses of Loom glasses
Loom sunglasses are manufactured in accordance with regulation (EU) 2016/425 and the standard NF EN ISO 12312-1: 2013 / A1: 2015.
The lenses of Loom sunglasses belong to category 3, which corresponds to a high level of protection against solar glare in accordance with the ISO 7000-2950 standard.
These sunglasses are intended for general use:
- Do not use for direct observation of the sun.
- Do not use as protection against artificial light sources, such as tanning beds.
- Do not use to protect the eyes against mechanical impact hazards.
- Not suitable for driving at night or in low-light conditions.
Care and storage tips:
- After the beach, rinse them with clean water and then dry them with this cloth: salt water can corrode the hinges and damage the anti-reflective coating on your lenses.
- Use the microfibre cloth supplied with the glasses to clean them: even though our lenses are treated to resist scratches, ordinary fabrics can leave permanent marks.
- When you're not wearing them, always keep your glasses in their case to avoid scratching the lenses.
- If they're really dirty, massage (yes, you read that right) each lens with a drop of washing-up liquid, rinse them and then dry them with this cloth.
